The Chinese Elm tree is kind of nearing the end of the season. Before it loses all its leaves new ones will start to appear in early Feb. In the first years we had the house I was going to cut it down as didn't think it looked very nice. My neighbor convinced me not to. She said it was beautiful in the Spring and Summer and provided great shade for them. Now that I stay later I realize how great it looks in the Spring with its long swaying branches. When my neighbor calls me in the Summer and Fall she calls it OUR tree and never fails to tell me how great it looks. Think she has my number.
