Today I spent going from house to house to see how folks felt about putting a dog park in next to the community center. Several of us were not for it as too confined a space and too close to other homes - hear the dogs barking all day. So I had a couple of blocks to cover and get people to sign for or against it. Of about 30 folks had 1 for it and 26 against. Rest were noncommittal. Others are covering other blocks in here. Best part of it was meeting folks who I had not seem before. Many for one reason or another never leave their house. They wanted to just sit and talk. It was great hearing their stories. We will go back and visit them once in awhile.
