Rattle here, rattle there, rattle everywhere
Hiking in Arizona this time of the year adds another dimension to watch out for - rattle snakes. When it gets into the 80's consistently they start to come out. Still you hardly ever see them as they like to scoot if they sense you are coming. Today while we were hiking in the Superstitions this fellow rattled at us to please stay away. So after a few pics and me not moving any closer than 4 feet he sensed he was not in danger and moved off. There was a lizard on a rock right near the snake. I was trying to get the lizard to move closer to the snake to see what would happen. Herding lizards is like herding sheep.
