Back to the good ole days

I got a call from Wayne (the maint. guy at the History Center) that they needed someone to help peel 8 logs before they dried. So for the next 4 hours we peeled logs with draw knives. It was hot and humid out so can imagine what I looked like when got home. Sheila suggested I might just want to leave my clothes in the garage. Hadn't used a draw knife since I was 17 years old on the farm. Found out I am not 17 years old any longer. The logs will be used as replacements for rotting logs in an old historic cabin.

Think you should be happy that you still have all of your fingers! (You do still have all your fingers?)
