Weekend before last Sheila and I went up to North Dakota to her all school reunion. The little town has the neatest activities going all weekend. Great parade, lots of food vendors, all kinds of games and races (soap box, turtle, and bed),bull riding, and a band on main street in the evening. 2000 showed up for the band. I have never known Sheila to get tired from too much visiting, but by Sunday she was ready for quiet time. Her brother had the community church service this year. As you have seen on the TV, North Dakota has had a lot of flooding. First pic is one of the many roads where they had to put gravel in and dike back the water. Even the interstate had water bladders holding back water so cars could get through. Second pic is a canola field in bloom. The blossoms are a bright yellow. The flax fields are a very pretty blue. When you get the canola and flax fields next to each other it is very striking.
