Corpse plant

Nothing special to talk about, just wanted to put a pic up of an unusual plant I saw at UW when I was there a few weeks ago. It is called the corpse plant. Smells like rotting flesh (hence its name) or rotten eggs. We happened to catch it in bloom which is rare. It blooms sporadically sometimes once in a 10 year cycle. The blooms only last 2 days. It was inside in their greenhouse. As you can tell it is a very large bloom.
