Izzy

Sheila was vol. on Saturday doing a Habitat for Humanity home. Things went well until just before noon. She fell off a ladder trying to reach the last tough spot in the ceiling. When I got home there was a call saying she was in the emergency room. We spent the next 6 hours there. She couldn't remember the fall so that required a CT scan which turned out negative. Just a little bump on the head. The main problem was the extreme pain in her right side. Turned out it was a fractured rib. You can imagine the pain she has been in since then. Nothing you can do for it accept take the pain meds and wait for it to get better. I am sure sleeping in the recliner has not been fun for her as well.
Pooch is Sheila's brother's dog. Her main mission in life is to chase tennis balls. All she wants to do 24/7. Great fun.

Will be thinking/praying for you Sheila. Hope it won't discourage you from more volunteering.
At least your biking season was winding down. Now Phil gets to wait on you, ha.

Ouch!! No volley ball for you this season. The Habitat Homes are fast paced and hard work for sure...but rewarding as well. You can try it again next year!

Well, Sheila. You are going to have to watch TV, read, sleep, surf the net, listen to music, eat bon bons, and do other boring stuff until your rib heals. Not too bad a gig this time of year.

So how's Phil's cooking these days? ;-)
Hope you start to feel better soon!
