Organ Stop Pizza

Yes, that is the name of a pizza place. Shiela's cousin wanted to take us out of pizza last Sat. eve. When we got there at 6PM the line was out the door. Thought wow! this must be great pizza. While the pizza was very good the big draw is the music. First they have a Wurlitzer organ that comes up from under the floor to high above you. Not just any organ, it is the largest Wurlitzer in the world. For you musical folks it has 6,000 pipes (many rare ones), 32 inch wood diaphones, many rows of keys, has 78 ranks, 17 tuned percussions, and innumerable traps and effects. Plus it has computer controls to bring in just about any instrument you can think of that is hanging from the ceiling or the wall including a grand piano. It takes 4 turbine blowers to provide the massive amounts of wind required. He played mostly show tunes, TV theme songs, and requests. Wasn't sure how I would like it - stayed for 3 hours. it was great.
Sunday and Monday we had rain off and on. It is the first rain we have had. So we visited friends in Scottsdale - Jerry/Marlene (had a flower shop in Rochester), and Greg/Sue (she transferred to Mayo down here).
