Well as you might expect more hiking and biking. First picture is Sheila behind a cholla. I told Sheila to be careful when hiking of any cactus, but above all do not touch a cholla. She found out the hard way. She just wanted to touch it a little. Immediately I heard a yelp. Those little buggers just seem to jump out and stick into you. That's why they are nicknamed the "jumping cholla". The second picture is a peak called Miners Needle. We actually had lunch up there - That is after another 2 hours of hiking and coming up from the backside.
Saturday the little gated community we are in had a valentines dinner for all of us. The entertainment was a family with 8 kids, all of whom play stringed instruments. Ranged in age from 19 years old down to 3. The older ones were masters at all types of music. Guess that is why they called themselves "The Sizzling Strings" They are from Nevada I believe.
Sunday AM we went to a flea market - not like the ones back home. All new stuff. Many buildings to cover and after 3 hours thought that it was enough. Did not cover it all. Sheila is going back Friday with a girlfriend. We went home; got on our bikes and road 26 miles out to the Superstition Mtns. Real optical illusion. Seemed flat on the way out but really was up hill. We thought we were really out of shape. On the way back seemed like we were coasting up hill. Land is slanted so what seemed like an up hill was just less of a down hill.

Started math triangles and Squirrel is offically on the fly as of today. Kids (and I) very excited about your return. Sheila is looking way too comfortable in the warm outdoors! We have had a week of sun, high 20's low 30's/ some melting but not enough.
