Corn squeezings

Found out that Kentucky is the bourbon capital. So thought we should at least tour one. Picked a small company called Maker's Mark. Apparently they are distinctive due to each bottle being hand sealed with wax. They have 80 employees and every thing is done by hand to ensure quality. Found out formula for making bourbon is the same as making bread. Fermenting vat above is 9,000 gallons. They had 16 of them. They keep 250,000 barrels aging at all times. I did help them hand seal one bottle. Had to wear glasses, put on arm protectors, and wear gloves because the wax was very very hot.
