Yesterday was a treat. I got to do something I have not done in many years - going out in the woods and cutting down a Christmas tree. My sister had picked out 3 possibles on her land and then waited until we arrived to cut it down. Thanks Sue for bringing back memories. It was a balsam fir about 9 or 10 feet tall. We are about to load it in her car. So Sheila held onto the tree, Sue drove the car with dog in her lap. I was odd person out as now no room in the inn (car). I walked home.To see the decorating of the tree you will have to go to Sue's blog.

That does bring back memories of going out to the woods and "topping" a tree so we could bring it home to decorate.

yEA, I remember dragging a tree home a few times.
After our marriage for a few years, I bought an artifical tree to save the marriage. I was able to get it in the VW, 2 kids, friend and me driving.
