New uses for an old barn

Sheila is a pizza nut. So along with some friends she set up a pizza date on 7/24. The catch was we had to drive 50 miles over to Wisconsin, out in the country at an old farm. The top of the old barn was gone, but they had turned the the insides of the foundation into a pizza experience. The special treat was that the pizza was wood fired. If you haven't had wood fired pizza you haven't lived. All the herbs were fresh, they would just go pick some from the growing area in the middle of the barn (see picture). Where the wall had caved in they turned it into a waterfall. Just a neat idea. It was packed as people come from all over. A wonderful evening. Now my neighbors want to do the same thing on their old family farm in Cold Springs. They are already planning all of our roles in the enterprise - ha.
