We like to go to the annual AJ parade as they have lots of horses. Some are beautiful riding horses all decked out in beautiful saddles and riders. Others are the work horse type such as in the pic. They don't seem to poop on the street like the few we have back home - wonder what they do to prevent that?
Sunday 6 of us went to Algodones, Mexico for just a fun day. It is a very safe village of about 8,000 folks. It is known for the number of dentist and pharmacies located there. Prescription drugs are very inexpensive. Dentist are US trained, very efficient, and inexpensive. A crown back home is $1,100. Down there it is around $220 at most. In addition, you do not have to wait 2 weeks for a crown. They have their own labs so max of 1 to 2 days. Dentist back home have said nothing wrong with there work. Of course they have all kinds of goods that are being sold. Basically you offer 1/2 of asking price or less and haggle from there. They expect it so lots of fun.
