Last Thursday we went over to Door County, Wi to do the Door County Century ride on Sunday. Spent Friday
shopping and doing some riding. Our friends, Kathy and Ron, from Pillager, MN joined us Friday eve. Saturday we had breakfast at the well known Al Johnsons. It is a Swedish restaurant that has a grass roof with goats on it. I guess the goats are supposed to keep the grass mowed. That was followed by a bike expo in connection with the ride and some more
shopping. Sunday was beautiful. Sheila and I did the 100 mile route. Kathy unfortunately got food poisoning Saturday night and had a very bad night. To show you how tough she is - got up and rode the last 50 miles of the tour on Sunday. Not sure I could have done that. Ron rode with us the first part and then rode with Kathy for the last 50 miles. Picture is the after ride party. They had food for us and of course two big screens with the Packer game on. After all we were in Wisconsin. There were over 2100 riders this year.
