Time to catch up on what is happening in our lives since last set of posts. On July 12th we traveled to do the Tour of the Saints bike ride. Great ride (1200 riders) in pretty country. When we were finished decided to get subs and go to the Clements/Munsinger Gardens in St Cloud. Many acres of sculptured gardens. Had our lunch on the shores of the Mississippi and then decided to drive home. Just out of St Cloud, traffic on freeway was at a standstill. 1 1/2 miles in 2 hours. Decided we are retired and didn't have to put up with this. We turned around, went back to St Cloud and spent a lovely evening. The next day we biked the Glacier Lakes Trail on a perfect day. See the traffic jam must have been there for a reason. Turns out gas truck turned over 40 miles down the road at 11 AM and they closed the freeway down in both directions until 8 PM.
