An apple a day keeps the doc. away

Sheila vol. at the History Center on Saturday. Her job was to juice apples and provide free apple drinks to the kids who stopped by the juicing station. Standing with her is our friends Joleta and Wayne. Wayne is the maint. guy at the Center and Joleta worked with Sheila on the apples. The man who brought the rig said it was his fathers. It could really make a lot of juice quickly. They were getting over 1 gal. of juice from a 5 gal. bucket of apples. Interesting I found out that the best tasting juice is made with several apple varieties mixed together. The Center had a lot of diff. Fall stations for kids and their parents to enjoy. They also do several Halloween evenings to scare the wits out of kids.
