Painted Desert

We stopped over in Albuquerque, NM yesterday and biked 27 miles on some trails there. Wanted to add another state to our log of states we have biked in.

Tucumcari, NM is sometimes known as a town of painted walls. They have decorated a lot of the walls of their buildings. Picture is just part of the mural on a wall that included cattle and shrubs. If you look close can see the real blue sky above the building and the yellow cement parking block below the picture. I put Skardy Squirrel on the horses back. Think I will use it for New Mexico in Diane's 1st grade project.
