We are on the road to Arizona. The first day we were planning on going to Emporia, Ks but diverted to Topeka KS to have more options. A big storm came up in the area we were going to be in - I 40 corridor. They ended up getting 1 inch of ice followed by a lot of snow. Found out just before we left Rochester that a guy I roomed with in College was going our way at the same time. So we all stopped at the same motel and had a wonderful eve. remember the good old days. We diverted through Kansas to Colorado Springs. We have some friends there so spend Friday eve and Saturday with them. Had a great time catching up. Picture is his workshop. For you wood workers - is very large, heated floors, complete dust control, finishing room with its own clean air system, office, bathroom, etc etc. Guess you know where I spent part of Saturday.
Today we put on 650 miles and are in Holbrook, AZ. 175 miles to go on Monday. It is been in the 20's most of the time, but finally hit 50 today a couple of times. The folks along the way have not had a mild Winter. I know everything is relative.
