Sheila and I went up to my sister Sue's place for a long weekend over the 4th of July. My brother Brent also came. It was 4 days of perfect weather - 70's, light winds, sunny skies. We cut and trimmed the yard and trails, cleaned up plants, opened up fences, rode bike for 70 miles, built firing platforms for fireworks, great fireworks for 1 hour - many 200 and 500 grammers (thanks Brent), Neighbors came over for a July 4th meal (the hot dogs were over a fire) and fireworks, went birding one afternoon, Scraped varnish and stain off of a 12 foot church pew, Sanded it down, Played games, lots of root beer floats, and great conversation. As I said a perfect weekend.
