Good bye to Old Red

There was a big red oak tree between our neighbor's house and ours that had to come out. It was behind two other big oaks as well. The only way to get it out was bring in a big crane. They dropped the guy into the tree and he cut it out in 3 big sections and hoisted it out over our neighbors house. It was such an event that Dave, my neighbor, had a breakfast party and invited the whole neighborhood to eat and watch. Told him we should have had a lemon aide stand to help offset the cost we both incurred.
